| Hi mate. Thinking of you more and more each day. The drive to work, the football club, the pub, the jokes that were between only us that still only make me laugh all remind me of what a top bloke you were and still are. I know you’re seeing me straight, i’m sure it’s no coincidence that you have gone and i start being half sensible and succesful!!! You are the angel on my shoulder. Cheers buddy. Love you and miss you loads and loads. Jay. -x-

| I only met him a couple of times. I used to play for Hythe Cricket Club and then moved to Henfield. When Henfield played Newdigate last year we got talking and vaguely remembered playing against each other in Kent as well. It was only this weekend I realised he wasn’t playing against us this year and found out what had happened. I’m just someone who shared a game and beer with him, nothing more. But I liked him and was looking forward to seeing him again. I’m so sorry.

| It was very moving to read about Russ and to see how much he loved and was loved during his life. He seems to have left lots of good feelings and memories behind. We lost our daughter, Emma, in December 2001 at the age of 28 in a car accident and have experienced the terrible shock at the loss of a dearly loved child ourselves. I hope you continue to be comforted by memories of Russ and by your family and friends. Emma was a very vibrant person and we are sustained by that vibrance, as I hope you are sustained by the great qualities Russ had. Emma has a website at www.emmawylie.com if you want to see it. Thinking of you, Chris Wylie

| Many thanks, on behalf of all the children, for donating to niece Emily’s class. We have found three lovely things to buy in a memory of Russell. All involve special lighting effects - some of which can be controlled by the children themselves, using their voices. They will be able to create a magical effect in the room which even those with the most severe visual difficulties will be able to appreciate. Judy
